Cardmix moves into new home
Cardmix has finalised its move to new premises in the centre of Watford.
The new offices are in the busy business section of Clarendon Road.
Cardmix was originally set up as a division of Woodmansterne before being relaunched last year as a separate limited company led by Julian Perryman.
Initially Cardmix continued to share offices at Woodmansterne's Watford HQ but the intention was always for Perryman and his team to find a separate home for the business. Nevertheless, the two will continue to share some resources, notably Woodmansterne's in-house print facility.
The move has also coincided with the expansion of the publishing team, including the appointment of ex- Art Group publishing director, Millie Boyd as publishing manager following a two-year consultancy period with Woodmansterne. "We're extremely excited about the future," she told GT. "As well as moving into new offices, we've also been working really hard on new product. Over 100 new designs will be launched at PG Live, with particular focus on occasions and relations."
A new blank range called 'Rubies in the Dust' (above) is also being unveiled at the show.
"Rubies in the Dust was conceived to celebrate woman's love affair with fashion but also take the idea of recycling to a different level," added Millie. "Stylish and fun, the cards feature a variety of female stereotypes, each modeling an outfit incorporating recycled materials. There’s a card to suit every type of customer: femme fatale, sporty chic, glamour girl, queen of the night, domestic goddess and fashionista."
