Hallmark extends religious card range
Hallmark has announced an extension to its religious card range following increased demand from consumers.
New additions include cards specifically designed for the Jewish holidays of Rosh Hashanah and Hanukkah. Both ranges feature five brand new card designs intended to help family and friends express their joy to each other during the Jewish holidays.
Hallmark’s existing range of celebratory cards for Eid (Muslim holiday) and for Diwali (Hinduism, Sikhism, Jainism) have also been doubled in size, to offer a wider choice for consumers.
The new and extended ranges of faith occasion cards has been developed as a result of consumer research findings which revealed that cards for these holidays were difficult to find and limited in choice, both online and in stores in the UK.
Tamsyn Johnston-Hughes, PR and CSR Manager at Hallmark Cards, said: “After talking with consumers and analysing the market, it became apparent that there was a real lack of celebratory cards for multi-faith occasions available in the wider marketplace.
“As an organisation, we want to ensure that we are providing a wide choice of cards that are representative of all faiths within our communities and as a result have improved our offering.”
The new card ranges available from September 2010, are priced from £1.99 (RRP), from selected Hallmark branded stores, high street card shops and personalised versions online.
