Rich pickings for Camden Graphics

UK Greetings have been granted a right royal slice of the action with permission to use the image of William and Kate’s Royal wedding cake in their product portfolio.

Camden Graphics have been given copyright to use an image of the Royal wedding cake in the Fiona Cairns card range.

Royals, celebrities and associates of the happy couple, enjoyed the extraordinary eight-tiered cake on 29 April this year and UK Greetings say that consumers can now send a memorable ‘slice’ of the action through their cards. The Fiona Cairns confectionery work of art, took 5 weeks to prepare and was covered in cream, white icing and decorated with over 900 delicate sugar-paste flowers.

The front cover of the card features the impressive cake photographed in Buckingham Palace and the back cover shows the original sketch submitted to the Royals by Rachel Eardley, the creative designer at Fiona Cairns.

The card will be sized 159 x 184mm, price code 90/KK, printed on Veltique superior board, cello-wrapped with a pearlised envelope.
