Clintons ‘Sings it with love’ on Valentine’s Day
A new campaign saw specialist cards and gifts retailer, Clintons send a special choir
out around the country to surprise its customers with a love song for
The retailer launched the novel campaign to help inspire people to
capture and share the emotion of this key card giving season while driving brand
awareness around the Clintons offering.
The ‘Sing it with love’ campaign was delivered and brought to life through Clintons social media channels including Facebook in addition to hosting live in-store experiences. A short film of the final performances can be seen on YouTube here.
Customers were invited to choose their favourite verse taken from 10 of the most popular Valentine’s cards and dedicate it to a loved one. Eight entries were then picked at random and had their chosen verse transformed into a personalised song by the Clintons Choirs who turned up on the winning doorsteps to perform for loved ones.
The live element of the campaign also saw choirs entertaining customers in selected stores across the country on Valentine’s Day – capitalising on the ‘last minute’ shopper.

“This campaign not only creates genuine engagement with our audiences through a number of channels but also puts the sentiment back at the heart of season.”
This will be the first Valentine’s Day that personalisation will be available on the Clintons website. This digital-led campaign will help to drive awareness of this offering, going that one step further to positioning Clintons as a key player in the online market.
