Changes at the top for UK Greetings

Senior management changes are taking place at UK Greetings headquarters in West Yorkshire.

After a career spanning 45 years in the greeting card industry Keith Auty, Group Marketing Director of UK Greetings, has announced his retirement from the business, although this will not take place until summer next year.

This decision has encouraged UK Greetings to review its current senior management structure, resulting in the decision being taken to integrate the Sales and Marketing functions and appoint a Sales and Marketing Director.

This appointment has been embraced by James Conn who initially joined the company in 1985 as a Field Sales Representative and has since held numerous senior positions within UK Greetings, most recently Group Sales Director.

Keith will work with colleagues using his considerable expertise and experience to ensure a smooth transition to the new structure, prior to his retirement in June 2013. He will also spear-head some major strategic global initiatives.

To support James Conn in his new position as Sales and Marketing Director, Ceri Stirland has been appointed as Director of Marketing with immediate effect.
