Clintons steps up social media support

Clinton Cards is doing more to market its brand by appointing integrated PR, search and social media agency, Punch Communications, to handle the management of its social media profiles on both Facebook and Twitter.

The greeting card and gift retailer aims to increase the number of fans and followers on the two largest social networks and also to intensify engagement with supporters of the company, which possesses shops in over 800 high street locations under the Clinton and Birthdays brands.

Acquisitions and interactions on Facebook and Twitter have increased significantly since Punch's appointment in December.
Clintons currently has 2296 followers on Twitter, behind Paperchase with 2949 and ahead of Scribbler with 900. On Facebook, Clintons is leading with 11,216 fans while Paperchase has 10,544 fans and Scribbler 1083.
